Ali has spent the last decade creating, designing, and delivering professional development with the ultimate goal of creating safe, consistent, predictable and equitable school environments. Ali brings to participants her content expertise and understanding of alignment and integration in such areas as: Restorative Practices, Social/Emotional Learning (SEL) competencies, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), building and strengthening Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Frameworks, and a diverse array of interventions at the Universal, Secondary, and Tertiary supports to meet the social/emotional/behavioral/mental health needs of all students, families, and staff.
Real-Talk Audits.
When leaders are so inside the work, it can be difficult to identify the pain points, prioritize steps necessary for improvement, and have clarity about where to start.
Ali works with leadership to identify groups that represent different voices in the organization to engage in Listening Circles. Through this process she gains incredible insight into the real strengths and needs within a culture. Along the way, Ali creates trusting relationships with the staff that can lay the groundwork for future work.
Whether building on the foundation of the audit or simply developing a concrete Action Plan, these authentic conversations can be a great place to start.
Coaching & Consulting.
Initial implementation is one challenge, long-term sustainability is another. The logistics of maintaining a system over time can be overwhelming. It takes careful planning around the macro (systems work) and the micro (individuals work) to ultimately achieve intended outcomes. Ali not only helps support the process of fixing systems, but builds the capacity of others to effectively maintain them over time.
Graphic Recording.
Ali helps elevate key ideas and critical insights through sketchnoting and graphic recording. By tapping into a different part of the brain, visual representation of concepts helps to engage your teams, communicate ideas, and gain true clarity of what’s important! Whether within the process or from the sidelines, Ali has been creating visuals for years that help clients take critical messages with them.
