The First Five
Thank you, Mindy Collins, from Northwest AEA in Iowa, for this awesome resource! I am already loving it and have only looked at two days of content! The “First Five” is a free daily resource for educators! It has practical ideas and activities that are perfect for the first five minutes of class (or any minutes in my mind, including work in Circle!). They land in your inbox every day at 7 AM EST. There are 18+ new activities and ideas every day that focus on classroom connections, self-care, care for others, and the development of character (and just make you smile!). Users can select resources and ideas for Primary or Secondary levels each day. It’s pretty great, and I will definitely be incorporating these ideas into the openings and connection times I do with the adults I facilitate meetings for! Have fun digging in! I did! (This meme had me laughing out loud!)
